Having problems?

Of course, we hope your time at ANU will be fun, productive, and completely glitch-free. But if you do run into problems of any kind, there are many people you can go to for help/advice/sympathy. For academic-related problems it's generally best to try and fix them by talking to the people directly involved (i.e. your supervisor/advisers) or to the Graduate Adviser/Convenor. But if that doesn't work, or if you feel you need an outside ear, try PARSA or the University Counselling Centre.

If you think you might be in danger of suffering from Repetitive Strain Injury or other physical problems related to sitting in front of a computer all day, Human Resources run courses on occupational strains prevention and keyboarding skills (including touch typing). If you have a problem with any kind of disability, you can get advice and practical help from the Disability Support Unit.
