Students enroled in a graduate program in philosophy are encouraged to read our induction guide.
Seminars series
Each philosophy program at ANU sponsors regular seminar series. There are normally four philosophy talks every week at ANU:
- Philosophical Society (Philsoc) talk
- seminar sponsored by Philosophy, RSSS
- seminar sponsored by Social & Political Theory, RSSS and / or the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics (CAPPE)
- seminar sponsored by the Department of Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts
Reading groups
There is a strong tradition of organising reading groups at ANU. Each year, numerous reading groups are set up with a mix of students, faculty, and visitors to discuss a wide array of topics. Current reading groups are listed here.
